The Komondor`s performance has increased again

The most powerful supercomputer of our country arrived in Hungary in autumn, was handed over in January this year, and has already been expanded with additional partitions.

The supercomputer named Komondor operated by the Governmental Agency for IT Development (KIFÜ), has received a new hardware infrastructure so it is able to process an even larger set of data faster than before.

The expansion carried out at the end of February was justified by preliminary surveys, in order to make use of the machine's capacity - with the end of the pilot mode – by as many academic, governmental and market users as possible. The goal is to provide the most modern IT infrastructure for partners active in research and innovation.

The exact details of the hardware upgrade can be found at https://hpc.kifu.hu/en/komondor.
