Call for submitting HPC Grant Applications

The call for the 2022 HPC grant has been closed.

Objective of the call:

The objective of this call is to support the supercomputer-related research activities and professional development of PhD students with outstanding scientific achievements and to encourage their scientific activities.

Goals include providing support for research works, increasing the number of individuals conducting scientific work with the help of the program, and increasing the number of research projects related to or conducted using supercomputers.

Basic data:

Date of announcement: 17 January 2022.
Deadline for electronic submission: 17 February 2022.

Eligible applicants: state-supported or paying students who have been admitted to a course in a doctoral school of an institute of higher education listed in Annex 1 to Act CCIV of 2011 on national higher education, and have the legal status of a student or PhD candidate for the academic year 2021/2022.

Maximum number of winning applications: 4
Grant period: 5 months
Amount of the grant fee: Gross HUF 570,000/month/person in the first 4 months, and gross HUF 1,140,000 for the last month. Grant period: 1 April 2022 to 19 August 2022

Accounting for the grant fee: submitting monthly reports is a pre requisite of the monthly grant fee disbursement, and a final report should also be submitted at the end of the grant period.
