HPC Echo 2021

Our annual publication, HPC Echo, describes 8 of the prominent research projects implemented using supercomputing in 2021. As regards fields of science, it can be stated that we are having more and more colours on our palette but natural sciences continue to be the main users of HPC. Expressive data are presented to paint a vivid picture of the other aspects of HPC uses.

An overview of the European HPC training programs

The Hungarian HPC Competence Centre has prepared a publication in which the training activities of 8 European competence centres were assessed. We can make use of such international experience during the formulation of our training concept. Look into this publication, which is available in both Hungarian and English.

HPC Echo 2020

HPC Echo, the annual publication of KIFÜ’s HPC Competence Centre, was published for the first time in June 2021. This publication informs the reader about the most prominent research projects of the preceding year, and also presents interesting data in relation to HPC uses.

HPC surveys in 2020

The HPC Competence Centre prepared two questionnaires in the spring of 2020. While the first questionnaire targeted existing users (mostly academic users), the second one targeted those who are not among our active HPC users yet, including academic and industrial players.
